Last night for the first time in 10 months 1 week, I didn't feed Lilly during the night. She still woke at her normal 4am but she didn't go crazy, just let out a few cries and then moaned for half an hour. I remained strong and the miracle did happen - she went back to sleep until 7.20 am. On waking I decided to try her with a cup of formula - it worked!!!! She was so hungry that she drank the lot.
I am trying not to get too excited - it is only one night after all, but I think we may have made a bit of a leap forward.
